Nuspire Donates to Philadelphia Society for Information Management Foundation (PHISIM)

Nuspire, a state-of-the-science Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) for some of the largest and most distinctive companies around the world, announced today that it contributed nearly $10,000 to benefit the Philadelphia Society for Information Management Foundation during its inaugural wine, champagne and bourbon tasting event.

“PHISIM has appreciated Nuspire’s philanthropic support over the years, and we were delighted when they approached us about hosting a wine tasting to benefit our foundation,” said Kristen Lamoreaux, Events Chair at PHISIM Foundation. “This generous contribution from Nuspire will go towards our scholarship fund for IT students.”

The PHISIM wine, champagne and bourbon tasting event was held on Thursday, November 8 at the Simone Automotive Foundation Museum. The event invited all members of the foundation to participate in a wine, bourbon and champagne pairing with hors d’oeuvres in a mix and mingle format while admiring the cars in the museum and discussing technology and cybersecurity.

The PHISIM Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Philadelphia Society of Information Management which focuses on charitable activities that support the future of the information technology industry. PHISIM funds $14,000 in college scholarships for Philadelphia IT students, a teen tech camp, supported the first NASA Challenger camp in Pennsylvania, and purchases hardware and software for Philadelphia elementary schools.
